VICTIM: EJM2232

My boyfriend and I were going to break up over the game until he realized what he would lose.We eventually agreed to only 2 days a week for no more then 4 hrs. After a while he gradually increased the amoutof hrs and time together diminished...i still get mad when he stays up and I have to go to sleep on my own.He doesnt cuddle with me no more or pay attention to me when i ask him.He replies with something sooo irrelevent to what i asked and laughs it off.He says that he is only going online to "fix" his settings until hids"guild" invites him and he can not say no.
He throws it in my face that it is better that he play WoW as a hobby other then going out to clubs or bars.I dont understand what gains you get from this.I wish I had a link to stats on how it ruins other peoples relationships.

Help!!

SHARE YOUR STORY!

I am a wife of a 36 year old WoW addict. We have three small children. My husband logs on average at least 70+ hours per week on WoW. He stays up all night several nights a week. He leaves our two year old in front of the TV on the other side of the house while he cracks out on WoW. Our bedroom life has suffered. He's almost lost his job. I am fed up with having conversations with the back of his head. I want to hide his headphones! I'm at the point I am seriously considering leaving him over this stupid game. He doesn't seem to care.

I know there are thousands of other stories out there. Please share yours and I will add them to this blog. Pass it on and help us build a site that shares the stories of loss and destruction that WOrld of Warcraft has caused in so many lives. It is completely anonymous!
